BLOG 7: Internet
Wikipedia has about 18 social networking sites listed. I did not know most of them, so I chose Wretch as the one to look up.
Wretch is supposed to be the biggest blog community in Taiwan with thousands of users registered. Wretch provides free albums and blogs on their hosting service, along with several different language options.
Social networking sites, on a large scale are used for socializing amongst friends and family or getting to know new people. My personal use is very limited, since I don't have a large interest in using the computer for other reasons than homework and research. I used to have Facebook, but never really went to it, so I deactivated the account. As for my personal use, I did used to talk to friends, invite large groups to future events, catch up with people I had not spoken to in years, and so on.
A personal experience which was not so great would have to be when a guy I was dating posted a bunch of stuff about his birthday celebration, which included, but was not limited to dancers, drugs, skinny dipping, and overwhelming drunkenness. Needless to say, I read it before he and his friends could remove what they put while behaving ridiculously, and broke up with him. You could say it was helpful since it showed me what he was hiding ha ha.

BLOG 5: Movies
My favorite movie of 2009 would be a tie between the intense Taken, the twisted Inglourious Basterds, and the funny Proposal.
Taken was distressing and intense in a way only a parent would understand. He took law into his own hands and made protecting your child look wild. Everyone wishes they had a mad man like that backing them up in a bad situation.
Inglourious Basterds was disgusting, as Tarantino would have it no other way. The idea that a bunch of wild men would set out seeking great vengeance on the Nazi scum is fantastic.
The Proposal was romantic and funny. There were a couple parts that were hilariously painful to watch because it was just so damn embarrassing.
My all time favorite movie would probably be Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightly. Smart, romantic, old school passions, in a time where they put people down in an elegant way. The music in it is wonderful as well.

The Hangover which was out in 2009, but was so sick and funny I can't help but love it! Grown men behaving horribly with their wild night catching up to them the following day, such fun lol.
